WREXRENT are a Lettings & Property Management company based in Wrexham, North Wales – created through the founders’ experience of being landlords and years working in the construction industry. We hope to establish a new type of residential property management that offers landlords a real alternative to traditional letting agents or self-management.

Why did you pick Arthur Online?

Before Arthur, we did not have any systems in place to help us with our property management. We knew what we needed though; we were looking for a system that was cloud-based, intuitive to use and cost-effective as we scaled; Arthur ticked all of the boxes for us!

What were your largest operational challenges before moving and how has Arthur helped you overcome them?

As our portfolio grew, it became harder and harder to keep up to date. Things that used to be okay in our head now needed to be systemised and we were dealing with an increase in tenant enquiries due to managing more properties. Arthur gave us a place to store everything we needed, but also allowed us to put processes and automation in place to remind us of things we were too busy to remember.

What features have you found most useful?

By using the Applicant Form feature, Arthur has streamlined our enquiry process both in terms of administrative time for us and ease of use for applicants to secure properties. Combining that with the facility to request remote e-signatures through Signable for things like contracts (especially over the pandemic) has made a massive difference.

How did you find the onboarding process?

As a growing company, Arthur is the first CRM system that we have implemented, so we were very conscious that we wanted to make the right decision when choosing our software. We got Arthur to help us throughout the process and we received remote onboarding training sessions and arranged an in-house training day with Dan, which was fantastic and hugely beneficial to the whole team.

What do you think of Arthur’s customer support?

Excellent – the online chat is quick and easy for one-off, specific queries. The knowledge base is fantastic to refer to on an ongoing basis.

How much has your business grown since you started using Arthur and has Arthur helped – if so, how?

We started using Arthur at the end of 2019, only a few months before working remotely became a thing. Since then, we have been able to double our fully managed portfolio despite challenging times. The system has meant that we have been well-placed to manage a rapid increase in tenant enquiries over recent months.

How much time and/or money has using Arthur saved you and your team?
